The first story with help of the Google Alerts.

Here’s an exciting news story that came through my Google Alerts about the fact that Illegal downloading in the UK has become a massive threat to the music and film industries. In 1997, 78 million singles were sold in the UK; last year, it was just 8.6m. It is estimated that half the population has engaged in some sort of nefarious downloading in the last five years.
Exactly the same happens in every other contry that has an internet connection.
That is horrible.

My idea of a social campaign

A lot of people in Ukraine download things illegal, mostly it happens just because they don't know that they do some harm for the economy and for the people that post that.
The idea of my social change campaign is to educate people about the amount of harm they do and to show legal ways to enjoy the same things without no reason to worry.
The target audience will be mostly teenagers that are addicted to music and movies, also i hope that it will cover people at the age of 22-35, that are less careless, but still not always know the law that prevent doing that.
I like the idea of usung a motto:" Watch your clicks"
It is funny and still concentrate attention
I decided to choose this issue just because i didn't know all the responsibilities of downloading music and videos from the net. The first step is to educate, it seems to be achievable.

Short Biography:)

Hi!
Me name is Nadiia Vivchar. I am an exchange student, who has a great chance to spend this year in the United States of America.
Some interesting facts about me:
I am currently 16 years old and was born on November 28th, 1998.
The only child in the family and was raised by a doctor (my mom) and an electrician (my dad).
I am a country girl who at the age of 8 decided to get better education and went to the school that was 20 km away from the house. After a year of studying there I got to know that we have a chance to try to go to the US as exchange students while are in 9-11grades. The next couple of years I was trying to do my best to have good grades and was waiting for the chance. I failed the test for the first time in 2012. I was deeply depressed and wanted to prove myself that I can do it. The next year I tried one more time. That was a good decision, so I am in the United States of America right now enjoying my exchange year.
